How does JOS continue conversations?
JOS continues an exact saved Diary thread only when you reopen it. Across other conversations, JOS uses only the People, Goals, Preferences and Growth you reviewed and confirmed.
Current context, saved threads and your profile have different jobs
- Current context contains the turns needed to continue the active conversation.
- History is a saved conversation or Diary chapter the member can revisit.
- People, Goals, Preferences and Growth contains only profile details the member reviewed and confirmed. Growth includes achievements, milestones and changes you recognise and choose to keep; JOS does not assign a progress score.
- Patterns are separate hypotheses and remain separately permissioned.
Confirmation should stay visible and reversible
A proposed profile detail is inactive until the member reviews it and chooses to keep it. Active details show their source and confirmation date and remain individually editable or removable.
Removing a profile detail removes it from future context and derived indexes. Correcting something in the current conversation overrides conflicting older context rather than forcing the member to defend the correction.
