Why I built JustOurSpace

A note from the founder

The idea for JustOurSpace grew out of a difficult chapter in my own life. I was going through a painful breakup, and therapy helped me a great deal. I valued that support, but the cost made it difficult to keep up.

I also knew how much I enjoyed helping people. Within my friendship group, I was often the person people turned to for advice, and I spent some time working as a life coach. What I enjoyed most was listening, understanding what someone was facing and helping them see a way forward.

As I explored what AI could make possible, I wanted to bring something of that care into JOS: a welcoming space to talk things through, consider another perspective and find your own next step.

I built JustOurSpace for the unpolished thought.

You might recognise those moments: a message you type and delete, a conversation you keep replaying, or a decision that follows you through the day.

My hope is that JOS gives you room to pause, feel heard and hear yourself a little more clearly.
