What we collect, why we use it, what you choose to save and how to manage your information.
Who controls your information

JustOurSpace Ltd is the controller for the personal information described in this notice. What information we collect
We keep your account details, the choices you make, service and payment records, and the content you choose to save. Your residence determines applicable terms; US members also provide a state or territory. City is optional. You choose your current country separately for urgent help. JustOurSpace does not store raw voice audio.
Why we use your information
We use account and service information to provide and secure JustOurSpace and meet applicable obligations. Where UK or EU data protection law applies, AI conversations require an applicable legal basis under Article 6 and your separate, explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) for sensitive information you choose to share. You can withdraw that permission to stop future processing that depends on it.
Your conversations, Diary and personal context
Saving a conversation creates a private Diary chapter you can continue by text or voice. It is not searched from unrelated new conversations. Your first consultation is saved separately. People, Goals & Preferences contains only specific details you review and confirm for future conversations, never whole conversations or private Diary pages. Later details are not used until you choose to keep them. You can edit or remove each detail. Private Diary writing does not receive a JOS reply unless you choose to discuss it; AI reflections remain yours to review, edit and save.
AI training, analytics and how you found JOS
Your private conversations and Diary content are not used to train AI models or included in product analytics. We may link general information about how you found JustOurSpace, such as search, social media, an AI assistant, a referral or a campaign, to your account to understand which outreach works. This does not include your private content, search terms or precise location. Optional usage analytics runs only with your permission. Referral information is included in your export and removed when you delete your account.
Service providers and security
Providers help with hosting, data storage, account security, AI conversations, payments, email and technical protection. They process only the information needed for their service under our instructions and contractual safeguards. Where information is processed abroad, we use applicable transfer safeguards; contact privacy@justourspace.com for details. We use safeguards including encryption in transit and restricted access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
How long information is kept
Saved Diary chapters and confirmed profile details remain available until you remove them or delete your account. Other retention depends on the record's purpose, account status, legal obligations, security needs and any unresolved payment or rights request. Deletion from active systems is separate from backup expiry and service provider retention. Contact privacy@justourspace.com for the retention information that applies to your request.
Your controls and rights
Use your privacy and account controls to change optional permissions, correct profile details, export your information or request deletion. Turning off future saving does not delete chapters already saved. You can also ask to restrict processing or object where those rights apply by contacting privacy@justourspace.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. You may complain to your local data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. Support, export, deletion and cancellation remain available even when you cannot start a conversation.
