Privacy and memory
This notice explains what information JustOurSpace uses, why it is needed and how saving, continuation, memory and privacy-bounded acquisition measurement remain separate from your private content.
Who controls your information

JustOurSpace Ltd is the controller for the personal information described in this notice. Account and location information
Your country of residence helps us show the information and choices that apply where you live. US members also provide a state or territory. City is optional and does not determine your legal rights. Your current country for urgent-help information is stored separately and does not change your residence.
What is stored
JustOurSpace stores the profile information you confirm, versioned permission events and, only when available and permitted, conversation sessions, diary pages, editable AI reflections and memories you explicitly approve. JustOurSpace does not store raw voice audio.
Diary, continuation and remembered conversations
Saving a conversation creates a private Diary chapter; it does not create approved memory. Continue by text or Continue by voice reopens only that exact saved thread. Remember this conversation is a separate deliberate choice that allows JustOurSpace to retrieve relevant parts of the complete saved conversation in later text or voice spaces. The complete transcript remains in your Diary and is not copied into every response; only the smallest relevant evidence is supplied. The editable short label identifies the remembered conversation, but it is not the only content covered by that approval.
Individual approved memory
A proposed fact or preference remains inactive until you approve that individual item. Each approved item shows its source and date and can be corrected or forgotten. Forgetting a remembered conversation stops future recall across conversations without deleting its Diary chapter. Deleting that chapter follows the Diary deletion path and removes its linked conversation memory.
How content is used
Diary text, transcripts and emotional content are excluded from product analytics. Analytics records identifiers and status events, not what you said. Conversations are not used to train models.
How you found JustOurSpace
When you deliberately open a recognised JustOurSpace link, or arrive from a recognised search engine or AI assistant, we may record a source such as Organic Search, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Community Outreach, Partner or Referral, JOS Card, Paid Search, Paid Social or AI Discovery. A recognised AI referral may include an allowlisted provider code, and a controlled link may include a short campaign code describing its broad distribution context. We keep a random time-limited reference in session storage while you create an account, then store only the source, channel, optional provider and campaign codes, registry version and timestamps with that account. We do not keep the incoming URL, search query, raw referrer, IP address, precise location, device fingerprint or anything you say or write. Later product use is included only while optional analytics permission is active. The attribution appears in your export and is removed when your account is deleted.
Service providers
We use carefully selected service providers for secure hosting and data storage, account security, AI conversation processing, payments, transactional email and technical protection. They process only the information needed to provide their service under our instructions and contractual safeguards. Where information is processed outside your country, we use the safeguards required by applicable law.
Why sensitive information is processed
JustOurSpace processes account and service data to provide and secure the service and meet applicable obligations. Where UK or EU data-protection law applies, a requested AI conversation relies on the applicable Article 6 basis and separately recorded explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) for special-category information the member chooses to share. Withdrawing that permission stops future dependent processing.
Your controls
Account, support, privacy, export, deletion and cancellation controls remain available even when conversations are not available for a location.
Security
We use technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect account information and private content, including encryption in transit and restricted access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
